Client: Oatly
Background: With the Corona virus forcing large parts of the world to isolate themselves at home, Oatly decided to make isolation more bearable by creating distractions.
The brief I was given was very open but had a few guidelines; three porridge recipe videos for people to follow at home, with as little commercial feeling as possible and with quarantine mode in the back of mind but not directly outspoken.
What I did: I directed three videos with "easy" porridge recipes, with myself also having to be in front of the camera. The videos were filmed handheld and on purposely shaky, with me talking to the camera person to strengthen the feeling of a self production made at home during isolation.
In each video the amount of Oatly products being stacked in the pantry decreases noticeably to indicate time in quarantine is passing.
The videos were released on Oatlys website for Department of Distraction Services as Sagas Sensational Porridge guide along with full recipes to download and follow step by step.
